A creature of habit

We have had prawn cocktail for starter every Christmas Day that we have been at home. About 45 times out of the 49 that we have been married. I have use the same recipe out of a Marguerite Patten cookery book that my Dad bought for me in 1964.  The pages are a bit stained with use, it’s easy to see which ones have been my favourites. 

Everything has been prepared and the schedule written out so that I get the timing right. 

I do hope that everyone’s enjoying their evening.
