Loved the back lit smoke or steam at Glasgow City Chambers this morning.

The mad week continues, so another back blip. Today's crowing glory was the auditor who was having trouble understanding the scanned bank statements that had been sent to show the final payments made to support projects overseas, paid in January, but relating to 2012 accounts. I had previously sent the three sheets, one each from three different bank statements, and showing a grand total of 8 withdrawals, four of which were for £15-£4000, none of them round numbers, and three for tidy, round five figure sums. The guy doing our accounts (who has been provided with a list of cheque numbers and sums, in which these three payments are handily listed one after another) wanted clarification of which three payments on the bank statements added up to the total of £93,000. Really??? So I rescanned the statements with large red arrows pointing out which payments he was interested in! As if there wasn't enough else to do!
