Scottish Dark Sky Observatory

Great evening out with QPCC today, down at the Scottish Dark Sky Observatory near Dalmellington. Absolutely fascinating tour, and that was without seeing a single star through their very impressive telescopes! After taking my camera, tripod etc down there, we didn't even take them out of their bags (hence the rubbish phone shot of their , but still had a great time. I heartily recommend a trip down there, the staff are great, and with a clear sky it would have been incredible! Late back though, and working tomorrow, hence another back blip.
