Christmas Walk
While our respective turkeys were gently cooking the younger Flums came over and we went for a walk to a deserted playpark.
The Flumlet enjoyed a reprise of the climbing frame and zip-wire and was joined on the springy-seesaw-thing first by Miss Flum, then by his father and Grandad, to the amusement of all.
Then we wandered off to see the Primary School, much modernised since Miss Flum and B attended, past the back of the old Farmhouse, seeing a fox asleep under the trees, and back along the road for our farewells and discrete hugs.
Miss Flum stayed for the rest of the day, which we spent quietly with a traditional Christmas lunch.
Lockdown commences at midnight, who knows when we can meet up again.
