robins are like buses

I've been wanting to capture some shots of robins for ages as I think they are cute little things. But whenever I have tried they have flown away. However today we visited Bodnant Gardens where we encountered the friendliest, cheekiest and most curious robin in the world. He came closer to us every time we got closer to him. He was practically touching the lens at some points. After a zillion shots we left him be, pleased with our little encounter. Only to spend the rest of our trip finding robins. They all seemed to be about today.
Following Bodnant we went on to the RSPB at Conwy, however the tide was out and we saw practically no birds. What we did see instead were some gorgeous wild ponies. They were very skittish but we got some good shots of them too. But mainly today was about the robins.
