Bitty but good day!

Had a nice lazy morning lie in, watching TV in bed for a few hours before finally figuring I should really get up.

I then headed up town for a couple of things I wanted for a present but couldn't quite find what I was looking for so walked home again! Took a blip of these old doorbell knobs that are still remaining on many tenements scattered around Edinburgh but doubt that any actually work any more.

Then this afternoon my husband and nipped out to the Fort where I wanted to go to Hobbycraft. I was in my element looking at all the creative bits and bobs and could easily have spent a fortune.

My husband also got some good news, he has been offered a new 2nd part-time job that he first applied for around 7 months ago but due to all the different interview stages he has only just found out today that he got it!

Can only be a good week now surely?
