Notes: Didn't sleep well again - up early and pulled out of Mom & Dad's @ 606a (central). Light traffic and easy drive in, filled gas in below 0 feels-like temps. Solitary shuttle ride and quick getting thru security (pic shows the new security area for Midway). Got Einstein's bagel. On-time flight of 55 people and quick hour and half to DC. Didn't have to check bag, was in 2nd row and Mic already pulled up for pickup when I walked out. Nice rest of day celebrating Christmas tog, visiting Spike (neighbor's cat she's watching), watched a movie (Knives Out), made dinner, exchanged gifts. Exhausted and still a bit emotional but wonderful day (needed it!).
