Boxing Day

My intention today was a quick shot of our Boxing Day Dinner,  with a decent shot of the flaming Christmas Pudding - the flames had died down by the time I got a decent shot yesterday (bottom left).  It would have been titled “The Second Flaming”.
 
 
So after dinner, some extra rum AND . . .
 
 
No way did it want to light, even with a flame thrower and more copious amounts of extra rum (daughter prefers rum to brandy when she makes Christmas pudds).
 
Then I realised that, for reasons not known, that I had put the pudd in the fridge over night (??).  So into the microwave it went, and even more copious applications of rum, but still no flames.
 
So we gave in and had a couple of large portions each.  The rest of the afternoon was a bit hazy . . .
 
 
We did manage some cheese and some port and some brandy.
