Ho Ho Ho

Boxing Day, with heavy rain lashing against the windows and the wind howling, courtesy Storm Bella. No visitors to entertain, and no guests to prepare for, it all seems a bit flat understatement this year.

I planned to spend some time at the computer, and to spend the rest of the day sewing, and MrM announced that he would do some sanding in the hall. While MrM is very good at the actual DIY jobs, it would be fair to say that his preparation in terms of mess-limitation leaves a lot to be desired. To cut a long story short, I wasn't impressed, half-way through the morning, to discover the hallway engulfed in a thick cloud of plaster dust, that was spreading through the entire flat.
So, no sewing. Most of the day spent on damage limitation...

Hoping for a house full of visitors on Boxing Day next year!
