Kayaks

Today the walkers were only six in number.  We started at Shortcut Road and walked along the river to Reko’s Point and a bit beyond.  Had our lunch under the trees by the river.  High above the river we noticed all these kayaks coming downstream.  Clearly an event was happening.  Interesting to watch.  A great walk followed by the usual ‘cuppa’.  One extra: the beautiful Clutha in all its glory.
