Met up with my pal Renee for a mid-morning wander and natter. Fred the whippet joined us too, who you can see in his Christmas attire in the extra. I cropped him out of the original not to deliberately exclude him but to remove the distracting path from the pic. Sorry Fred!

Cropping this heavily and still having a lovely sharp photo did make me realise how far digital has come. I wouldn't have been able to do this with my old Nikon D2H.... A beast of a camera with a mind bending 4 megapixels! It certainly taught me to make sure I framed properly before pressing the trigger, no margin for cropping with that fella. I did rather like it though, plus you could have hammered nails in with it!
