Last will
Feeling blue. It has been more than anxious day in many ways.
Running errands today, like my father's insurance papers posted to the insurance company - finally with all missing papers found! And in the later evening the estate inventory deed done. Me, my brother and our step-mom were together with a trusted man - who maybe was not a good choice for the job, but you never know. He had good references for the job, but he was fussing all too much, was in the wrong address even in the first place, made some mistakes between bank accounts and it was hard to understand his speech momentarily.
There was also some surprises on the way, like missing formal bank account deposition from the bank, a prenup between my father and her widowed wife. And last but not least there was also a will of my father and his second wife from year 2000, which my brother showed. I was not surprised about it, though, even though I had not known about it. All the documents made us move back and forward several writing the estate inventory. I had to ask my step-mom's neighbor to come and testify our signatures and I copied plenty of different papers with my step-mom's small printer. In the end I can only hope, that the trusted man did attach everything that was needed. I have not clear idea what will happen next.
In the blip there is my father's signature in his last will.
Poor dad.
