Sunshine and rain

The photo was taken at 12.40, as we drove home from a visit to the pet shop in Didim.  Just twenty minutes earlier it had been eye squinting sunshine (extra). The whole day was like this, oscillating between bright sunshine and torrential rain.  

It was the first time I've been to Didim for almost two months. Robin and I have hired a car for the duration of her visit and this morning's excursion to a town I visited daily all summer long now felt like a major event. 

The afternoon passed quietly at home, and the evening included the weekly video call with Jean in Kent and watching Harry Potter 4.
