... with the old Town Hospital behind. It was originally the workhouse for the people of St Peter Port and is currently the Police Station.
My mission today was to top up my red wine supply so I headed to the Co-op which is at the bottom  of this avenue. I was very happy to see that their wine shelves had been topped up so soon had wine and a few other bits duly paid for and stashed in my rucksack. As I walked along the seafront a bus that would take me home came along so I jumped on. And as I sat down it dawned on me... I wanted red wine but got over excited when I saw my favourite Chenin Blanc and that was what I bought.
So I’m still low on red wine but have enough white wine to top up the bathing pools!!
