Jon's Birthday buffet ....

Finally got around to taking Jon, son No 1, for his 16th birthday lunch which he really wanted to do. Here are a few pix from the Novotel and the buffet itself, well the chocolate fountain and lady fingers piled on top of sprinkles!!! Looked so pretty, couldn't help taking the picture. The top left is the most unusual chandelier I have EVER seen. I think it's made of wood ... I've actually seen it with the lights on one evening but can't remember if it was bright or subdued? But it's quite dense and so different, no?? Also the picture of my 3 boys is taken at an electronics store where they were checking out a 3D TV, hence the glasses. Jon, is on the extreme left, Ben (our second son) in the centre and then Martin!

We certainly ate like there was no tomorrow and always complain about how we'd stuffed ourselves. What is it with buffets???
