Male House Sparrow (Passer domesticus)

We have had guests in the Lodge for a few days and another family were due to come today to celebrate New Year.   Obviously we had to be out there prepping the Lodge for the guests.  All the time we were there we had company!  This little feller was either on the chair back just outside the verandah doors or perched on the door handle of the verandah doors.  If he wasn't doing either he was fluttering up and down the glass.   Not a good shot as he was so near  the glass the camera has picked up all the rain marks on the glass.

Having got the Lodge ready we headed into town to drop of the bed linen at the laundry.   Only to be informed that as of midnight we are in Tier 4 which means we have to close.  Fortunately the guests were coming from a Tier 2 which is what we are/were.  However they had the sense to delay their departure from home until after the announcements were made.
