Making Whoopie on Wednesday

When our S-I-L visited us on Christmas Day, her and my brother Dave came equipped with whoopie pies from New Hampshire. We first had them in Bar Harbor, Maine, and they are delicious.

I've been collecting recipes from Pinterest, and decided that this was the day to attempt my first whoopie. (I even bought the fancy pan, maybe three years ago.)

I tried lemon with raspberry filling. I e-mailed my S-I-L that they turned out really well...but weren't great, weren't fabulous.

While the recipe,
was far from a wreck,
I've got a couple others,
waiting on deck.
