Sapeurs-pompiers

The firefighters are held in very high regard. Not only do they provide the emergency ambulance service but also spend their summers fighting dangerous forest fires. We are always more than happy to buy their calendar. They knocked on our door just a couple of nights ago. On a circuitous walk to the supermarket, I passed the fire station and barracks. This truck was outside. I thought it would make a good restoration project but then decided I quite liked the way it looks now.
