This is not my picture, its Mr. Banksie's

I hope Mr. Banksie will not mind me borrowing it on this day of all days.

There was once a petulant child who believed his close family were not being very kind to him. He stamped his feet and held his breath until he went blue and did all sorts of other silly things and, no matter what they did, he still remained very peeved with his family. Finally he said that if he can't have his own way he would leave home and, although the family wanted him to stay, that's exactly what he did. He thought that, unlike his own family, the big wide world would like a petulant self-centered  and extremely foolish child and every thing would be wonderful.
At 11.00pm tonight we leave the EU. Personally this causes me great sadness, more so  for my children and grandchildren who will have to suffer the consequences of this social and economic vandalism.
All round 2020 has not been a very good year.
