Scottish lockdown – Day 6

'The stalker' strikes again.............................

Our post over the last few weeks has been diabolical. Ann applied for a temp Christmas job with the PO but they rejected her?! And she's very organised and efficient!!! We don't get any post for days and then we get a whole load all at one time.  Today when I got back from my afternoon walk, just look what was lying on the mat for me.................. a Christmas card to Ann from the stalker?!!! me.

Ever since Ann adopted me on 11th February 2019 'the stalker' has been sending Ann, 'Mother's Day Cards' and 'Christmas Cards' from me?! Ann has questioned everyone she suspects, but no one is owning up to being 'the stalker'. However, have a look at the lovely message inside the Christmas card (see extras) and if anyone recognises the handwriting please let us know.

It's a mystery, but Ann loves 'the stalker' for being so kind and thoughtful. Thank you, whoever you are. Xxxx

…..................And in other news....................... We walked over to Mrs R's this morning because she needed a loaf of bread and didn't want to go out in all the snow & ice. I was very happy because it meant I got an hour and a half walk through two parks.

It snowed until about 11.30am and then the snow turned to rain so by the time I went out this afternoon everything was a big slushy mess. Let's just hope it doesn't freeze overnight.

So here we are........................... New Year's Eve. We started our 'home alone' party at about 4pm (see extras) because Ann has a bottle and a half of wine to get through before 2021 (she's doing 'dry January') and apparently we won't be staying up until midnight.

Looking forward to 2021 and meeting up with all Ann's 'BLIP' friends that she's met in real life over the years.

#thingscanonlygetbetter

Happy New Year Blippers. xxxxxxx
