Mt Ruapehu
New Years Day.
Started with 28Km mountain bike ride on the Fisher Track in the Tongariro National Park. Views down the valley were outstanding of the rugged NZ bush on the central plateau.
At the end of the day, despite being at alert level 2, Mt Ruapehu looks very peaceful with snow on the upper slopes
