We have a great Hogmanay, despite the Covid restrictions. Drinking starts early and continues, unabated, until dawn.

I cook up some roasted wedges with a choice of chicken/veg Kiev. There’s fizzy wine. And the rest of our friends on Zoom, projected onto the cinema screen.

They can’t really hear us, though, because we are actually having a party. Background noise is high and the microphone is in the corner of the room. Never mind. It’s all good clean fun.
