Nooks & Cranny’s

Beaches in front of rocky cliffs often have small cave like entrance on them and Maenporth Beach is no different.
On a cold, windy and wet afternoon we took ourselves off to the beach for a walk and some fresh air. The aftermath of the storm had left the beach swept clean of seaweed, drift wood and the normal rubbish, some brave souls were in swimming, I explained to Sam that it’s warmer in the water than out but that it’s the coming out of the water that’s the cold bit.
We met friends, had a socially distanced chat over a takeaway coffee before climbing into the van to head home.
Fire lit, takeaway dinner from the best burger place in town who do ‘Mates Rates Monday’, two huge burgers for £13, they taste pretty good as well.
