Beautiful Staithes

Jonny and I left the kids in bed and welcomed 2021 in with a walk up on the cliffs. Definitely the best view of this gorgeous town.

We ventured out again (with reluctant kids) after breakfast but it was raining, windy and cold so turned back after half an hour.

Jonny and I went out in the afternoon to the pier to watch huge crashing waves. Brilliant.

Tea with Paddington 2 and then another walk to liven everyone up before Family Trivial Pursuits. The kids won, which made the final tournament score 3-1. Grrrr.

Now a good session with my book Where the Crawdads Sing. It's wonderful.
