Project 365

Day 1 of a new project for the new year: I hope I can manage to take and share a photo each day and post it with a few words of explanation or commentary. They will not be wide ranging or exciting: for the past ten months my photography has been confined to my home and garden and walks around my village in the North Downs. I try to capture the shapes and colours of the beautiful landscape in which I live, observing and documenting its details and changes, and this effort to notice, record and delight in small things has provided a focus which has helped me through these long months of shielding.
