Project 365 day 2

Today I escaped for an hour's walk, the best I have managed for a while: up the lane, along the hilltop with views into the next valley, then down to the edge of the village. It was chilly and muddy with flat, grey light, but I love the greens and browns of the winter landscape, dark hedgerows defining the contours. This quiet valley is near Elham in the North Downs.
