Long lie into the new year, read my book for a bit. Then up for a fried breakfast at lunch time. Walk to Blackford Pond and an aborted attempt to climb Blackford Hill. We foolishly left the crampons at home. Finished my second book and did more of the puzzle. A good start of the new year.
