Henley Bridge
I went to see my aunt at Henley and stopped on the way home to blip the bridge. At least the river has ceased raging and subsided to below the mooring pontoons so that I could stand on the one by Leander for this shot.
It's a fine stone arch bridge. Doesn't look very high but it take a long time to reach the water from the parapet! Tried it once as a student prank after winning a race here; a very foolish thing to do!! The water is deep enough and in summer warm and the current not too strong but the bottom is oozey... ugh! And that is a nasty surprise when you expected firm ground to help you push off to the surface again...
