Snowy Botanics

There was another light dusting of snow today and we were off to The Edinburgh Botanic Gardens.  The conditions were perfect for walking to the gardens-we went through The New Town, across Dean Bridge, through Stockbridge and there we were.
The Botanics looked like a winter wonderland, it was a real pleasure.  Here is my friend 'M' admiring the Monkey Puzzle Trees and The Wollemi Pines.
The Chinese Garden looked great-see extra.
I then walked on to the work allotment just to check that the poly tunnel wasn't too waited down with snow.  All was fine there.
