On The Hook, Aylesford

It's been back to the cold, grey and damp for the last two days so I didn't really fancy going out until I was dragged out by my brother this afternoon.
Sometimes you spot something and you have no idea why it resonates but for some reason it just does. This is very much the case with today's image - it just looked supremely odd and slightly sinister, like an alien sprouting from the undergrowth. Maybe it just matched my strange mood - I'm back to work on Monday and I must say I'm not looking forward to it very much. I'm sure it will be fine when I kick back into the routine but I'm slightly dreading all the rolling deadlines again.
