Basking in sun!

This cheery bullfinch was soaking up the warmth of the sun and feeding on seeds I watched for several minutes
It’s not the best pic as I didn’t want to scare him away by stepping closer!

It was a very cold morn when I woke at 5am discovered the boiler had dropped pressure and the heating hadn’t kicked in! Hey ho!
Managed to fix it ......phew!!!
Been a bit discombobulated with eating times as I had breakfast at 6am !
About her spectacular winter’s day a high of 1 degree , the sun is so uplifting and the wee birds are joyous!
The paths in the wood were very slippery today, caution required!
Caught up with the Archers and their 80th anniversary quiz! I have to put on record I have not been listening that length of time! :):):)
