Slippery Ice

Very early start today. Mr P and I off to Edinburgh Airport with son no 3 at about 4am. It was all iced up and -8. The airport was almost deserted and each passenger had to show detailed evidence for essential travel. It took far longer than usual to check in. Sad to see him go but hopefully it will be a positive adventure.
Back to bed to thaw out and snooze and then Mr P persuaded me to head into the hills. Lovely sunshine but the paths were icy. I almost fell a few times. Good to get out. Always lifts my spirits.
