cold blip

very cold day today - too cold for a walk out...

had a productive day though prepping some new stock which i will take to the market tomorrow

i did venture outside briefly though, to be the model for my partner's blip of the day today - taken with an old Franke camera, film developed in the kitchen, hung to dry in the bathroom (plus a blast with my hairdryer!), scanned between two pieces of glass, and uploaded for his blip of the day... (bit different to the days a few years ago when we would spend the day out and about and return to our then darkroom to process and print out photographs taken)... whilst out in the cold damp garden i spotted a flash of colour - the winter flowing jasmine that has been in the the garden for years (and i mean years - 15 or so) has finally decided to flower! so whilst Ian went inside to start his film developing process, out came the trusty Canon G9, point, click, done! Captured forever in this blip - just in case it decides never to flower again!!

I have to say though, the old way still produces some great sharp images!!
