Not only teasels can be striking
I've noticed lots of teasel photos recently, and been guilty myself. They offer such striking shapes at this time of year. Stuck for a photo this afternoon, I thought I'd look amongst all the dead vegetation in the flower beds and found these tiny architectural wonders. These small seed heads are from a plant, possibly in the teasel-scabious family, that I don't recognize from the winter remains. I'm looking forward to seeing all the plants in this new garden reveal themselves through the spring and summer.
