Allotment Leeks in the Snow

Our last 'special' brunch of the Festive Season today - Buttery Kedgeree from Delia Smith's Complete Illustrated Cookery Course (a well loved dog-eared 1989 Chistmas present).  

An afternoon walk to the allotment mainly to deposit the mounting food waste in our compost bin!  The beds are still covered in snow as you can see from the photo of our leeks.  We might have been the only ones there today - so quiet and peaceful.
