Snowfield

I arrived at Arley first thing, Lovely early morning light, and no one else around - so it felt very comfortable. Much of the gardens are now gated off, I imagine to protect the grassed areas and planted borders. I was not here long, but enjoyed it.

As I left groups of families were arriving with excited young children. In this weather I can see that parents want to bring the little ones out to burn off energy and enjoy that rare experience - lying snow. There will be a lot of fun snowballing, building and pushing over snowmen, and sliding around on the ice,

Returned with J for a walk down front lane from the car park mid afternoon. Another snowman had arrived by then (extra).
