Canal walk

I broke the (potential) tyranny of the 365 by not posting yesterday. Today I walked a short distance along the Manchester, Bolton & Bury Canal, a stretch between Radcliffe and Bury.

There is a society, whose aim it is to restore the canal, but at present it ends ignominiously in a muddy field outside Bury, near where I took this photo.
