All quiet

No traffic, not a breath of wind today, in this quiet part of Prestwich, where I have lived since 1992.

Not many people about, either, as lockdown starts again, 295 days since the first one began on March 16th. Perhaps the difference is the light at the end of a long tunnel, in the form of a vaccine.

But, as my old friend Peppy, sadly departed, once said: "I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, but it's on red."
