Nice early start with the skip man banging on the doors just after sparra's fart.  Five hours later, job done.

The council advised me that to collect 800 off cuts of carpet would be regarded as about 80 parcels at £10 for six. Likewise 47 rolls of underlay, and two settees broken into 8 parts.

Or I could book about 17 appointments at the tip and drive the 16 miles round trip, queue and tip it myself.

Booked a skip instead and we have room to spare so a deep clean of the garage has commenced.
