Bouquet

Today's the day ……………………. to receive a gift

They arrived today - as promised - a beautiful bouquet of flowers that, believe it or not, came through the letterbox this morning.

They were beautifully packed into a long thin cardboard box.  Each flower individually wrapped to keep it fresh on the journey.  All I had to do was follow the instructions, let them recover for a couple of hours in some water - and then arrange them into what you see here.

They were the first installment of a Christmas present from brother Ron and Margaret.  The next two will arrive in a similar way at the beginning of February and March and will be just the job to get me through the winter, especially as more Lockdown looks to be on the cards.
