Icy Walk

CyclopsJnr and I had a very icy walk around Harlaw and Threipmuir this morning.  We did a lot of walking off the side of the path on the snow, rather than on paths where the snow had been compressed, then saturated, then frozen again forming sheet ice.  We were very glad of walking poles to help keep us upright when we couldn't avoid the icy bits...

We arrived just after a rain shower, and left just as a hail shower came over - so we got the best of the weather!
