Ram

Saw this fellow today whilst on a walk around Charlecote Park NT property. He was in a small area of the park which was enclosed by a fence and then within that an electric fence! Not sure if he was there because he had already done his duties and might still have been frisky. Whatever reason it looks like they definitely didn't want him going walkabout.
Weather really beautiful until around 1 o'clock when the sun started hiding behind the clouds and only occasionally peeping out and the wind, probably from the east or north-east started feeling really chilly.
Saw a few friends there too, which was lovely, as we hadn't seen one couple for over 6 months. Not that many people there although J has a theory that they all get out early. Maybe.
Lots of deer of course and also once again we were followed by the gang of long tailed tits for 100 yards or more. Other birds seen included some cormorants, herons, egret, buzzard, robin, blue tits and great tits, blackbirds, sparrows, pigeons and doves, swans and ducks, coots, moorhens, jackdaws, rooks, and at last a kingfisher. I only had a standard lens on the camera but J has a superzoom bridge camera and she has some great shots of that. Boo hoo.
I thought that those of you from NZ would appreciate a photo of a sheep as you've probably never seen one lol.
