Twelfth Night

I have always been someone who likes to draw out the Christmas season. In the debate over where the 12th night falls I always err on the side of the 6th rather than the 5th.

Part of me was heartened by the discussion on Radio 4 about keeping decorations up until Candelmas at the start of February. But realistically they have to come down soon.

This year, whether it is because we cannot have people in the house or just the psychology of getting into the swing of the new lockdown, I was ready tonight to switch off and begin dismantling and packing away.

So one last Christmas view for the main blip and for the record the tree in the front room as extra.
