Evening

A beautiful afternoon meant we headed out for a walk. Beautiful but chilly, especially as the sun set. Was quite surprised to see lots of curlews feeding in the playing fields, mingling with the more usual bunch of oystercatchers (dodgy Extra). And some cherry trees are in blossom, what’s going on?!

Sitting here watching the TV news reports from Washington DC. Seems it’s now the capital of a banana republic. Trump will be sitting in the White House revelling in it all. Could he lower the bar any further? I just hope he doesn’t end up with blood on his hands.
