Cinnamon Swirl Brioche.    Dough mixed yesterday and kept in the fridge for 24 hours, swirled and left to prove for another three hours then baked ...... then we ate some :-)

After a fourth badly disrupted night due to Jamie's gallstones, he's done amazingly to recover himself and finish this.    The doc has prescribed some stronger painkillers and arranged blood tests but also suggested that a trip to A&E might be the best option if this continues.   The normal referral process is currently broken by the pressures of Covid so reluctantly we will have to try a less attractive route to possible surgery.   In the meantime we'll be giving away much of what Jamie bakes as he can't enjoy too much of anything right now.
