Gan Canny....

I thought I'd miss my dental appointment this morning!  The roads were thick with ice, even the gritted ones like this had deadly black rivers of hard to see ice.  As I got to about 5 minutes away, and with 5 minutes to spare I came across this at a roundabout.  

Nothing on the local newspaper website yet - 10 hours later - though they may pick it up sometime.  Local news!  Not any more.

Got to my appointment with no time to spare. Fortunately their car park was empty so I dumped the car outside the door and just made it!
