2021 Tuesday — Big Waves

We’ve known for the past 4 or 5 days that the surf was going to be large today and it was. The reporters claimed the swells would be 20 feet today. I dunno; I forgot to bring my measuring stick and Mr. Fun forgot his too.

The BIG sets were large, but I don’t think my photo reveals it. The surfers would run the length of the pier to almost the end and throw their boards in and jump in after them to catch the next wave.

The waves were powerful; the back spray was significant; and Mouse Rock beyond the pier was breaking.
