The ever-faithful alstroemeria to the rescue - they are lasting VERY well.

This one I actually taped to the back door glass to get the white/grey sky behind, upped the ISO to a ridiculous level and even then a bit more '' upping '' in post-process to produce almost white on white petals.  
I like how it turned out.
