Mud, mud, glorious mud

On the spur of   hubby and I decided to go to the Addo Elephant National Park this morning. I hastily made some sandwiches, flask of coffee, and an hour later we were in the bush!
The park is very dry, it was hot and we weren't seeing many animals - until we arrived at the waterholes. The ellies were having a wonderful time swimming and getting covered in mud. As usual the babies were the most entertaining.
At one stage we were surrounded by elephants as they came and went. What an amazing experience yet again. Addo is just my favourite place .
The extras are of more fun in the water and a bigger elephant staring us down!
