Dad & Daughter

Slept ok, but I was awake pretty early, 6.20 I think it was.......hub was a good couple of hours after me.

A geey and over ast morning, but still pretty cold, only 2 degrees. We had porridge for brekkie, and yes, it was in bed ;-)

I gave hub a much needed manicure and pedicure this morning.....then got myself showered and did my hair, which was in much need of a treat! We made in downstairs just before midday lol.

Hub had a little cheese n tomato sandwich, whilst I made some chicken & vegetable soup, which we had a little later on.

Daughter popped round with some icepops for her Pops......as you can see in todays blip, she calls on the phone and stands outside the lounge window chatting away......in the freezing cold! You can see we still have some lying snow around.

We've passed part of this afternoon with mums colouring books and pencils.... it was theraputic. Hub got fed up after an hour, not me! I e ordered a couple of jigsaws from The Yorkshire Jigsaw Co. as a fellow blipper suggested, they should arrive early next week.

Although Hubs still not feeling great he is a real trooper, eating stuff that tastes horrible, he didnt enjoy the soup, (it was good, honest) but he ate it. He's had bacon egg beans and toast for dinner this evening, he said he could taste the bacon, at least that was something.
I had thai red chicken curry with rice, which I enjoyed.

Going to pack an overnight bag over the weekend, to put into the boot of the car for when we go to the hospital on Monday, just in case, as hub says ;-)

I didnt manage to get out at all today, so must make sure I do tomorrow......hubs done his usual walking around indoors. Think we will both be glad when the weather warms up a little so we can venture outside.
